Much anticipated for the Catholic’s Holy Week celebrated at St Peter’s Square led by His Holiness, everything is prepared for thousands of pilgrims and tourists flood the square. Loggia of the Blessings at St Peter’s Basilica used during Easter and Christmas celebration, for the Pope to give his Apostolic Blessing addressed to the City of Rome and the entire world. For some devotees, just a quick glimpse of The Holy Father would’ve been an emotional experience.

Tibet Qinghai Railway


Despite the criticism and an ongoing concern on how it might impact the environment, one thing for certain that is China has managed to awe the world by building a man-made wonder, the world’s highest rail track to date at 5.072m above sea level, to which 550 km long railway is constructed upon permafrost soil. With a total length of 4064 km stretched from Beijing to Lhasa, China attempts to further develop Tibet Autonomous Region and modernizing the remote part of the Tibetan Plateu, Qinghai Province.

Also known as Dashanzi District, this area was once used as an industrial complex owned by Socialist China and East German, today this complex houses a thriving art community. As it had shifted from its original function, this Bauhaus-style factory district had become a silent witness to deep-rooted China’s cultural transformation to date.
